"HPM6300 inherits the high-performance features of HPM6700, and has made further optimizations in terms of cost, power consumption, DSP and other aspects, and has launched QFP packaging, further expanding the coverage of Pioneer MCU products in the market." said Zeng Jintao, CEO of Pioneer Semiconductor.

The flagship product of the HPM6300 series, the HPM6360, has a main frequency of over 600 MHz, a performance of over 3390 CoreMark and 1710 DMIPS, and a newly added built-in fast Fourier transform and digital filter hardware acceleration engine, which greatly improves the calculation speed of FFT and FIR. The computing performance is better than the mainstream DSP dedicated chips on the market. In addition, the HPM6300 series has been deeply optimized in terms of power consumption, and a more refined division of the power management domain has been made, achieving a standby power consumption as low as 1.5uA and an operating power consumption as low as 40mA (full speed running coremark, peripheral clock turned off), which are lower than the power consumption of similar international brands on the market. At the same time, the HPM6300 series provides eLQFP144 and small volume 7x7 BGA116 packages to simplify user board-level design. Combined with the more friendly price of the HPM6300 series, users can obtain the most cost-effective solution.

The HPM6300 series adopts the Andes D45 RISC-V core, supports double-precision floating-point operations, and has a built-in 768KB SRAM. The analog modules include 16-bit-ADC, 12-bit DAC and analog comparator, with multiple nanosecond-level high-resolution PWMs, providing powerful hardware support for motor control and digital power applications; the communication interfaces include real-time Ethernet, support for IEEE1588, high-speed USB with built-in PHY, multi-channel CAN-FD and rich UART, SPI, I2C.

The HPM6300 product family covers a wide range, including the 600Mhz HPM6360 version and the cost-effective 200MHz entry-level HPM6330 version.

It is worth mentioning that Segger also provides developers with a complete ecosystem, including the completely free commercial integrated development environment Segger Embedded Studio, and SDK based on the BSD license, which includes low-level drivers, middleware and RTOS, such as lwIP, TinyUSB, FreeRTOS, etc. All the above official software products will be open source.
