【AT-START-F425 Review】USB to CAN final chapter: Communicating with the car ECU [Copy link]

 
 

All the previous experiments are just to lay the foundation, and they will eventually be used in the project:

This test was done with a car ECU exported to Iran. This was left over from the CAN test project I did with him using STM32F103VE.

The initial connection of its communication protocol is:

Expression Enable Testing Method Corresponding agreement Remark
OK/NG 1 The host computer sends the corresponding CAN protocol code to see if it can read the required data normally. id:01f10208 data[7] 0 is normal SENDEXT0500000 01f10208 3 00 00 00

Our development board did not receive any information after restarting:

After we send the command, we can receive the data sent by CAN:

This shows that the connection between F425 and CAN is successful.

[Summary] After several days of debugging, the project is finally finished. It also achieved the effect of my preview. It can be said that the F425 chip is far more powerful than the stm32F103 series chips in terms of CAN and USB functions. It is a very good choice in today's chip shortage.
