How do you estimate the number of vias on the capacitors in the power supply section of a PCB? Do you need to drill a lot of vias if the capacitors don't carry a lot of current? [Copy link]

I usually calculate based on two 10*20 vias passing 1A current.

But I don't understand why capacitors need to have so many holes in them to handle large currents?

How to estimate the number of ground return vias for capacitors?

It is necessary to be cautious when drilling holes in the board, because drilling holes in the circuit board will cause parasitic capacitance and parasitic inductance.

But it is not accurate to determine which board can have the most or least number of holes.
