The AM64x Starter Kit is a standalone test and development platform ideal for accelerating the prototyping phase of your next design. The kit includes: wired and wireless connectivity, three expansion headers, multiple boot options, and flexible debugging capabilities.
This starter kit also features TI's AM64x processor and an optimized feature set that allows users to create commercial and industrial solutions using Ethernet-based interfaces, USB interfaces, wired serial interfaces, and 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless communications. Two onboard 1Gbps Ethernet ports are used for wired connections, and there are three expansion headers to expand the board's functionality. This kit uses standard serial protocols such as UART, IC and SPI, and can be used as a communication gateway to connect to multiple other devices. The starter kit can be evaluated by running Linux on the A53 core, making it suitable as a central engine in a remote industrial communication network and as a programmable logic controller or motion controller. Additional embedded emulation logic allows emulation and debugging using standard development tools such as TI's Code Composer Studio.
