Development board firmware upgrade

1. Since there are multiple firmware upgrade prompts, I decided to upgrade it. Enter the launch page and click on Show Security FW to display the current version and the version to be upgraded.

Start the upgrade. You will find that there are two options for security upgrade. One is the initial state without encryption, as shown below

The other one uses encryption technology.

Click OK to successfully upgrade and hide the version number.

2. Upgrade and debug fw

but it shows incompatible

This is for jlink, and it cannot be upgraded from the jlink configuration selection

This has no impact and can be skipped.

3. Test code download. This time, there is no dialog box prompting to upgrade FW.

4. Summary

This Silabs development board provides a secure and controllable bootload and firmware, and provides a wealth of management and security options. The current development starts with this underlying service, which is completely different from the development using CMSIS.

In this process, the original manufacturer's rich manual is very important and needs to be carefully consulted and studied, but it is very simple and convenient to use.
