I used the RTL8309N-CG chip to design a three-optical and four-electrical switch. After the sample was produced, the electrical port was connected, but when the optical module was plugged in, it was not connected. When I tested it with a fiber optic transceiver, as long as the optical module was plugged in, the indicator light of the transceiver kept flashing. This is how the optical port is designed.

The RTL switch chip optical ports require software configuration
