How to use the signal source to create the arbitrary waveform you want? [Copy link]

Want to output arbitrary waveforms but don’t know where to start? Try using a signal generator to create the arbitrary waveform you want!

I have never bought any instrument, because I like DIY: I designed a programmable frequency divider (actually composed of a binary comparator and a counter) using a programmable chip, and the output is used as the address line of the RAM memory. The data line of the memory is connected to the D/A converter to output the waveform. The RAM is connected to the microcontroller through a three-state interface to write waveform data. The microcontroller is connected to the PC host computer through a serial port, and the PC draws arbitrary waveforms through the interface and sends them to the microcontroller.
