You can't install it directly, you can transfer it to a virtual machine.

Thank you very much. Previously, I could install XP by changing the hard disk mode from AHCI to IDE in the BIOS. Why can't I install XP on my current computer?

You can install XP, but many devices will not work because the drivers of these devices no longer support XP, not because the BIOS does not support it. If you want to use XP, you can install it in a virtual machine.

The two above have already given you the standard answer. Let's analyze it according to the specific model. As far as I know, Dell XPs cannot be installed with XP, at least I haven't installed it. It seems that virtual machines are fine according to the introduction on the Internet, but I haven't tried it.

Some machines cannot install XP because some basic resources, especially the disk system, are not compatible with the traditional mode. After XP boots up, it cannot find the hard disk and cannot be installed. Generally, as long as the disk system and memory system support it, it can be installed, but being able to install does not mean it can be used. It is possible that it may crash or be extremely slow.

It is like this, being able to install does not mean it can be used. Many XP drivers are hard to find nowadays.
