16.1 LCD Controller/Driver Functions
The functions of the LCD controller/driver built into the RL78/L13 are as follows:
(1) It can select the normal LCD waveform (A waveform, B waveform) or the memory LCD waveform. I have no idea about this point.
(2) The LCD drive voltage generation circuit can switch between internal boost, capacitor division, and external resistor division. This is understood as the drive power supply, is it okay not to understand?
(3) It can automatically output segment signals and common signals by automatically reading the display data register. What is automatic output?
(4) It can select from 16 reference voltages (adjusting contrast) generated when the boost circuit is running.
(5) It can switch between LCD flashing Note and display.
(6) It generates an interrupt when the memory LCD display ends.
Note This is limited to the normal LCD waveform.
However, it is prohibited to select fIL as the LCD source clock (fLCD).
The maximum number of pixels that can be displayed in each display mode is shown in Table 16-2.
