Build a "core" building together: front-line engineers talk about national chips, valid all year round (11 floors have been built) [Copy link]

Let’s set a small goal first: we hope to build the 100th floor by the end of 2021

Whether you use Guoxin or not, it is time to pay attention to it. Some netizens have already taken the lead and have evaluated or applied it in their own projects. They have real say in whether Guoxin is good or not.

I hope these front-line engineers will post comments and share the good Guoxin products they have used in actual use, or the pitfalls they have encountered, so that friends who want to enter Guoxin can have a reference.

I have used a GPS chip, which can be considered half domestic, made in Taiwan. The positioning accuracy is quite high, the power consumption is not large, and the instantaneous current can be very high sometimes. I started using an MPS power chip, which was always burning out. Later, at the recommendation of forum friend tbb, I used a domestic DCDC chip whose name begins with x, which no longer burns out.

Due to the technical ecological integrity of domestic chips and the fact that scientific research projects do not pay much attention to costs, when I was in school, I used MCUs and chips from foreign first-tier manufacturers, and I did not seriously understand domestic chips. After work, I also used a lot of domestic chips for cost considerations when doing projects. Especially in 2020, many imported chips were very difficult to buy under the background of a severe shortage of chips. It took a lot of effort to buy an ADI material. In this case, considering domestic substitution will also help improve supply stability. Below I will briefly talk about some domestic chip replacement solutions I know about, and I hope to inspire others to share their experiences: 1. For TI's DCDC power chip replacement, you can consider Richtek's solution; 2. For ST's STM32 MCU replacement, you can consider GigaDevice's GD32; 3. For Cortex A series ARM replacement, you can consider Allwinner Technology and Xintang's solutions; 4. For TDK- Lambda's isolated power module, you can consider Jinshengyang's solution; 5. For TI/ADI's operational amplifiers, you can consider 3Peak's solution; 6. For ADI's ADUM series isolation chips, you can consider NOVOSENSE's isolation chips;

I have an FPGA chip from Anlu, but I haven't used it yet.

I have used Qinheng's microcontroller, it is pretty good, easy to use and cost-effective.

51 single-chip microcomputers: Qinheng, Xinsheng, and Saiyuan are all good, each with its own characteristics.

ARM MCU: GigaDevice, Qinheng, Arteli, and Huada are all good. High-end: Allwinner and Rockchip are good

RISC-V: Qin Heng wanted to understand and evaluate it, but he has never started.

I have used Anlu's FPGA chip for a while and it is OK. I am evaluating Allwinner for domestic high-end CPUs. I hope that domestic chips will get better and better.

Arteli's Cortex-M chip standard library is really good, with rich example codes, and all of them can be used. It is well written. There is also a supporting detailed description document.

Working hard enough!!!

In fact, the biggest fear of domestic substitution is instability. Problems with large-scale products have a great impact. After all, although many domestic products use ARM IP, they are still a little bit behind in peripheral optimization and power consumption optimization. In addition, the driver library should be abstracted, which is the mainstream of future development. It is also hoped that the advantage of domestic products over foreign products in the future will be the MCU itself, rather than the price.

HuaDa's single-chip microcomputer is under development, but I don't know whether the software will take one or two weeks or one or two months?

Is Huada's stock not out of stock?

I don't know. At least the price hasn't risen to the same level as GD.

I have used MM32, GD32, ESP32, and recently Air32, W801, etc. I feel that the instructions for domestic chips need to be improved, and most of them are basically imitating STM32, under the banner of substitutes, without making their own characteristics. Of course, ESP32 is not bad, but the environment of W801 is too bad. I have to rely on my own exploration. I hope to use a domestic chip with real characteristics.
