Since I had no basic knowledge of Bluetooth communication and could not find a tutorial on how to use the Bluetooth module, I simply downloaded some information from the merchant and studied it myself. After many days of searching for information and repeated tests, I finally had a preliminary understanding of Bluetooth communication and mastered the basic settings of the Bluetooth module.
Two HC-05 Bluetooth modules were used in this test (see the figure below):
First, use the serial port debugging tool to familiarize yourself with the AT commands of the control module:
I set the two modules to master and slave mode respectively, and then opened the mobile phone APP to try to search and control the Bluetooth module. However, after repeated searches, I could only see the slave module but could not find the master module (as shown below). Later, I set both modules to slave module for testing, and the mobile phone APP could find both modules at the same time. Only then did I realize that the master module cannot be searched by other Bluetooth devices, and only the slave module can be searched by other Bluetooth devices.
I send messages to the Bluetooth module through the mobile phone APP. For some reason, sometimes the module can receive the message, but sometimes it cannot. The serial port debugging assistant sometimes shows that the Bluetooth module does not respond. We are still analyzing and understanding the reason.
