【GD32F307E-START】+Implementation of voice recognition [Copy link]

This post was last edited by hujj on 2020-11-25 09:54

Voice control of household electrical appliances is an important part of smart home and a focus of my test. Initially, I planned to use the GD32F307E-START development board to drive the LD3320 voice recognition module. Later, I found that there was a cheaper and more convenient HLK-V01 voice recognition module. The manufacturer has built-in a lot of fixed voice commands, which can automatically recognize and output information through the serial port, which can greatly reduce the difficulty of the experiment. However, this module cannot customize voice phrases, which has limitations in practical use, but does not affect the test. The following figure shows the voice recognition module under test. The voice recognition rate of this module is still good:

To simplify the experiment, I did not actually connect the relay to control the home appliance, but directly displayed the corresponding characters on the screen. As long as the voice command can be correctly recognized and displayed on the screen, it will not be difficult to control the relay through GPIO in the future. The following are photos of the experimental process:

This is the LCD display:

When you issue a voice command, the corresponding response will be displayed on the screen:

This is an animation of the test process. Since there is no sound, the display effect is poor:

Since the video file is too large, I had to record several small segments to show them separately:

GD_YYSB_ZM.mp4 (5.09 MB, downloads: 1)

GD_YYSB_KT.mp4 (8.35 MB, downloads: 0)

GD_YYSB_KGFS.mp4 (9.55 MB, downloads: 0)

Video files are added on the 4th floor

The following is the compressed package of this test project:

MyTest2.rar (5.12 MB, downloads: 27)

At this point, this test has been basically completed. The next step will be to continue testing the hardware I2C and try to establish communication with the EEPROM and other devices.

This film is sold at such a low price because a customization fee is charged. If no customization fee is charged, the price will not be this high. It will be a loss-making business. Moreover, voice is optional and cannot be produced in large quantities. If the OP wants to do DIY, he can choose fixed entries. I saw that you searched for the film GMASR2103 and it is similar. The entries for home use are all available and there is no need to customize it.   Details Published on 2021-3-19 17:59

I don't know what happened, the recorded video only has sound but no image. I'll try recording it again.

I re-recorded a few short videos. Because the phone camera malfunctioned during the previous recording, there were no images and the files were only a few MB. After restarting the phone, the recorded videos were over 20 MB, and after compression they were no less than 20 MB. They exceeded the limit and could not be uploaded, but I don't know how to edit videos, so I could have reduced the resolution appropriately to reduce the file length.

I bought a LD3320 voice recognition module for over 60 yuan. This one was bought recently and is on sale for 19.9 yuan. This is easier to implement, but the command words are fixed and cannot be modified.

There is core code sharing! Great!

How much did the LD3320 speech recognition module that the OP bought cost?

Thank you for the compliment!

Many of my codes are copied from others, or modified based on other people's codes, so the codes I write myself will be shared with everyone for free, as a reward.

I think I spent about 58 yuan to buy the LD3320 module. I don’t remember whether it was free shipping because I also bought other components at the same time.

The voice chip mentioned by the OP is very popular. It is the most widely used one in the market now, and there are more and more voice manufacturers now.

Is it a highlight that there are many fixed voice commands built in?

I feel like I can't customize other voices

I can only follow the manufacturer.

The key is that the modules of this manufacturer are cheap, but the disadvantage is that they cannot be customized.

The inability to customize by yourself is a major flaw. The manufacturer stipulates that the starting point for customization is 100 pieces, but you simply cannot use that many for your own experiments.
