This reference design demonstrates how to use the AWR6843, a 60GHz single-chip mmWave sensor with integrated DSP, as a vehicle occupant detection (VOD) and child detection (CPD) sensor for in-vehicle life form detection. The design provides a reference software processing chain running on a C674x DSP to generate a heat map to detect occupants within a ±60 degree field of view (FOV).
