High Speed Differential ADC Driver Design Guidelines
Most modern high-performance ADCs use differential inputs to suppress common-mode noise and interference. This approach can improve overall system performance by 2x by using balanced signal processing. Although differential input ADCs can also accept single-ended input signals, optimal ADC performance can only be achieved when differential input signals are used. So why do differential ADC drivers become an indispensable signal conditioning component in data acquisition systems? (See eBook "High-Speed Circuit Design Guide" page 16)
Power Supply Design for High-Speed ADCThis section describes the techniques used to measure the rejection of a converter's AC power supply, thereby establishing a baseline for the converter's power supply noise sensitivity. We will perform a simple noise analysis on an actual power supply and show how to apply these values to your design to verify that the power supply meets the requirements of the selected converter. In summary, this section will describe some simple guidelines to give you some guidance to help you design power supplies for high-speed converters. ADI Think Tank's latest secret book "High-Speed Circuit Design Guide" is 100+ pages long, ranging from the connotation of high-speed converters to power supply design, and then to PCB wiring layout techniques. I hope that the key points of knowledge explained in this book can help you understand more techniques for high-speed circuit design.
