Inductor Inductive Reactance Characteristics
[Copy link]
The inductive reactance of an inductor is related to two factors: the inductance L of the inductor and the frequency f0 of the AC current flowing through the inductor.
The calculation formula for the inductive reactance of an inductor is as follows:
In the calculation formula
, XL is the inductive reactance of the inductor:
f is the frequency of the AC current flowing through the inductor;
L is the inductance of the inductor.
This calculation formula can further understand the relationship between inductive reactance, inductance, and frequency.
When AC current passes through an inductor, the effect of inductive reactance on AC current is similar to the resistance of resistance to current, so when analyzing the circuit, the inductive reactance of the inductor can be understood as the equivalent of "resistance", as shown in the figure. The "resistance" in the equivalent circuit is related to the frequency and the inductance, so it is a special inductive "resistance". This equivalent understanding is like the equivalent understanding in the capacitor circuit introduced earlier, which is conducive to the analysis of the inductor circuit.
