After Dangdang snatched the company seal from ARM, ARM China staged a drama of snatching the company seal. Was the CEO dismissed? [Copy link]

According to the 21st Century Business Herald, citing a source, ARM China executive chairman and CEO Wu Xiong'ang has been removed from his position.

"The situation has been tense for the past week, and it involves legal procedures such as the replacement of the legal person. It has not been announced to the public yet."

It is reported that ARM China's board of directors has appointed Ken Phua and Phil Tang as interim co-CEOs of ARM China, replacing Wu Xiong'ang as chairman and CEO.

According to information, Ken Phua is a Singaporean with 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and technology industries. He has worked as vice president of global technology strategy and acquisitions at ARM - developing and executing wireless, computer vision, AI and China regional strategies, and serving as a member of the ARM China Ecosystem Accelerator Investment Committee. He graduated with a bachelor's degree and a doctorate in engineering from Manchester Polytechnic University in the UK.

As for Phil Tang, no relevant and accurate information has been found so far.

What is puzzling is that a statement with the official seal of Arm Technology (China) Co., Ltd. appeared online today.

Obviously, judging from this statement, it seems to deny the news that Wu Xiong'ang was dismissed, but it can also be seen that there may be some disputes between ARM China's management team and the board of directors, resulting in the management team's disapproval of the board's resolution.

It is also worth noting that the statement was dated June 4, and there were previous rumors that this was the statement issued by Wu Xiong'ang after he snatched the official seal on the same day.

The 21st Century Business Herald quoted an insider as saying that "the situation has been tense for the past week." Now that the news has been exposed, does it mean that the two sides have reached a consensus?

Just now, Arm's official microblog issued a message stating that Arm Technology (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Arm China") is an independent legal person registered in China in accordance with the law. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, Mr. Wu Xiong'ang continues to perform the duties of chairman and CEO. Arm China is currently operating normally, and its support and services to Chinese customers and industry partners remain the same.
