Soliciting suggestions from netizens: Should we open a domestic MCU section? How to classify it? [Copy link]

Hi, good afternoon everyone~ Recently, I received some suggestions from netizens: "Open a domestic MCU section".

Recent news and discussions have made me realize that domestic chips face both opportunities and challenges. At the same time, it is necessary to open a domestic MCU section so that more netizens who want to learn about and study domestic MCUs can gather to discuss and exchange ideas. However, how to open it and how to classify it? By manufacturer? By type? I can't make up my mind, so I want to ask what everyone thinks.

Do you think we should directly create a large section for domestic MCUs, and then divide it into sub-sections by manufacturer or purpose? Or should we set up a sub-section for domestic MCUs under the MCU section, and divide it into small sections by manufacturer or purpose? ?

Should the classification be divided by manufacturer? Or by purpose? Which one do you think is more eye-catching and easier for people to find the corresponding place for communication and discussion?

As for manufacturers, there are many manufacturers. Which manufacturers do you think are more popular and have more people using their products? Should there be a classification? ?

Similarly, what are the categories of usage?

Or do you have other opinions?

Welcome everyone to speak freely~ Waiting for your reply online~~~

You can start with one or two or three influential ones. If you do well, other domestic MCUs will naturally have a discussion atmosphere.

Let's divide it by manufacturer, but as far as I know, the engineers of manufacturers generally don't have the time to browse forums...

A lot of the time we still need to rely on netizens to discuss and solve problems and share experiences on their own.

In addition, when will there be a domestic manufacturer sector in the power supply sector?

Just open a large section for domestic MCU and classify it by manufacturer. This will also be a good way to carry out activities. Manufacturers will also be happy to provide support. It will also be convenient for everyone to communicate. Information will also be easy to find. Some manufacturers that are difficult to classify for the time being can be put into other manufacturers .

It is better to classify by manufacturer so that you can find the posts you want to read.

Pick a few big manufacturers first, otherwise no one will discuss it.

Set up a domestic MCU sub-section and make a small classification by manufacturer. Niche manufacturers are temporarily classified as others.

It is best to minimize advertisements and posts that intentionally or indirectly advertise. You can also charge more. Maintain the technical discussion atmosphere of the forum. Otherwise, it will be very uncomfortable to open the forum every day and see a lot of advertisements.

There are still very few advertisements in our forum. People need to survive, and the operation of the forum requires expenses. We can't do without any. We will patrol and delete posts that deliberately and indirectly advertise every day, and try our best to maintain a good atmosphere for everyone.  Details Published on 2020-5-29 14:59

If you sort by manufacturer, no one may come. If you sort by type, it is hard to find and not conducive to advertising. Suggestion: sort by chip type, for example: stc, chxxx, GDxx, etc. This way, it is easy for everyone to find and it is also easy for manufacturers to advertise!

It can be divided by manufacturer. Now many domestic manufacturers have made many good chips. The forum itself can be used as a place for the promotion and technical support of their chips. It is actually quite good. I support your decision because I have recently studied the ch552 chip and have some feelings about it.
