esp32 makes an open source handheld game console [Copy link]

Recently I found an interesting thing called odroid-go, which is an open source handheld game console that can play games like Super Mario and supports Arduino, micropython and other functions. With io expansion, it is a portable game console. It can even be used as a razor.

I can't resist the temptation of this kind of thing, but the size is a bit large, and it's not easy to buy, so I decided to make it myself. After
a simple plan, it should take about a week.
The first day of overall design

1, the
original appearance is relatively large, I hope to reduce it to the size of a credit card, which can be easily carried out.

2. The circuit board
adopts the mode of core board + expansion board separation. This makes it convenient to replace other main controls in the future.
The core module is an ESP32 Wrover module + CP2102 serial port
expansion board with buttons, power amplifier speakers, SD card slots, and battery charge and discharge management circuits.

I finished the circuit and layout two days ago, and sent it out for board making today. See the circuit diagram in the attachment. Wait two days.

The core board is the one I made before, link:

I remember there was an electronic product on the Internet that looked very similar to this called Palm Treasure. Is this the 300-in-1 product?

Credit card? That's too small.

Fortunately, it should be possible to make it smaller.  Details Published on 2020-4-23 20:21

I like the buttons to be distributed on the left and right.

I thought about that layout and realized it was difficult to make smaller, so I gave up.  Details Published on 2020-4-23 20:21
