"Playboard" + STM32F030Disco drives LCD5110 display [Copy link]

 

Today I took some time to dig out an unused STM32F030Disco core board. Here is the packaging of this core board:

Open the package and take out the core board. The package also comes with a perforated board slightly smaller than the core board, perhaps for the convenience of testing:

First, we simply configured STM32CubeMX and generated the project:

The first step is to test and light up the LED as usual. There are two LEDs, green and blue, on the board. Two GPIO flip commands and delay commands are written in the main loop. After compiling and downloading, run it again, and the two LEDs will light up:

The LED lights may not be clearly identifiable in the photo below:

The second step is to transplant the LCD5110 driver, copy the program, add the include path, compile and download the program, and as expected, the LCD screen lights up:

That’s all for today. We’ll continue testing other features tomorrow.

Yes, the main frequency is only 48MHz, but it is still capable of general applications.
