TMS320VC5502+ISP1581 USB2.0 high-speed data acquisition solution [Copy link]

TI C5000 DSP has the characteristics of low power consumption, high performance and low cost. Among them, TMS320VC5502 has a clock speed of up to 300M, can expand 2MB of sdram, has rich interfaces, 16K instruction cache, 64KB on-chip DRAM, and internal 6-channel DMA. These features make it very suitable for high-speed data acquisition systems.

ISP1581 is a USB2.0 chip produced by Philips. It supports USB2.0 high-speed communication, has its own FIFO, and supports DMA. It is widely used in MP3, USB mess storage, Ethernet, printers, scanners and other devices.

The following is the TMS5502+ISP1581 development board I use:

ISP1581 features:

(1) Fully compatible with USB2.0 standard protocol;

(2) Compatible with most device protocols;

(3) High-performance interface with integrated SIE function, FIFO, and an internal 5V to 3.3V converter;

(4) Support automatic USB2.0 mode detection and USB1.1 fall-back mode;

(5) With high-speed DMA interface;

(6) Completely free and multi-operation DMA function;

(7) 14 programmable USB endpoints and 2 fixed control transmission and reception endpoints;

(8) Integrated 8KB configurable FIFO;

(9) The endpoint has a buffer, which can increase the data transmission bandwidth and reduce the data transmission time;

(10) Software control connected to USB bus;

(11) Low power consumption, wide operating temperature range, and LQFP64 package.
