He has been engaged in global and regional business management and early R&D work in electronic technology and sensors in Europe and China for many years. He has served as marketing manager, senior marketing manager, and marketing director at Sensata Technologies. In his early years, he served as a research and development scientist and global sales manager at TNO (Netherlands National Organization for Applied Scientific Research).
