You asked about the internal circuit of a two-input NOR gate a few days ago. I posted a diagram of the internal structure of 7402. If 74HC04 "just uses 6 transistors", then it can also be said that 7402 "just uses 24 transistors"?   Details Published on 2019-9-14 09:39

Inverter or NOT Gate

Six pairs of inverters are integrated in the chip

The function of the NOT gate is that when the input is low, the output is high, and when the input is high, the output is low.

Thank you very much. Why do you have to use 74Hc04 when you can just use 6 transistors?

Depending on your needs, uln2003 can also be replaced by 14 transistors

It is not enough to use 6 transistors, 6 collector load resistors and 6 input current limiting resistors are also required.

In addition, the transistor input and output levels do not match the HC series digital chip levels.
