Why is the package of diode 4007 E1808? 4007 has two pins and E1808 has four pins. [Copy link]

A friend sent me a PROTEL99 DDB file. After opening the SCH file, I found that the package of diode 4007 is E1808. 4007 has two pins and E1808 has four pins. What's the reason? My friend said that the package he chose for 4007 was not E1808. Why did the package of 4007 become E1808 when I opened this SCH file?

As shown in the figure below

The 4007 diode has only two pins. I have never seen a so-called 4-pin diode. You may have mistaken the package. I have used three-legged diodes before, such as the BAS21A SMD diode, which uses the packaging frame of the triode sot-32. When using it, short-circuit the two connected legs.   Details Published on 2019-8-26 14:55

Does IN4007 have a 4-leg package?

Your schematics all have two pins, why do you need four pins? If you are really unsure, ask your friend for the BOM and re-match the package according to the BOM.
