Pulse sensor
Ginkgo USB-ADC adapter
An Android phone with OTG function

Hardware connection:
Phone <-OTG-> Ginkgo USB-ADC <-> Pulse sensor
Connection physical picture:

The green light is the pulse sensor, which will output a simulated signal that changes regularly according to the heart rate.
