The MSP430 product line introduced the first microcontroller with an integrated LCD. Since then, TI has launched a strong product line that now supports more than 100 products with LCDs and up to 512KB flash memory. This provides customers with the industry's widest range of MCU products with integrated LCDs and large memory options . These products can support a variety of low-power applications. As the MSP430 has evolved, so have the peripherals, including our beloved LCD. Features such as the number of segments, clock dividers, and segment programmability have all been expanded in the latest MCUs. It is now easier than ever to control the blinking of each segment, dual displays, and interrupts for the 320-segment LCD_C separately.
