【I-Prober 520】Unboxing and simple review [Copy link]

This post was last edited by nemo1991 on 2019-7-20 10:37

First of all, I would like to thank EEworld, Aim TTi and element11 for organizing this event. I am very honored to have this opportunity to participate in the evaluation.

It’s been a week since I received the probe. I’m posting an unboxing and simple review.

1. Outer packaging: The overall design is very delicate and the protection of the probe is also very good.

2. Probe components: mainly include probe body, closed magnetic circuit coil, DC power supply (comes with various standard plugs, I directly use the national standard here).

3. Probe related documentation:

The sensitivity setting file is used for PCB trace testing.

Warranty Documents:

manual:

4. Simple function test: Use closed magnetic circuit method to measure DC current.

a) Test the load capacity of the buck-boost circuit. After the circuit to be tested is connected to the electronic load, the electronic load is turned off and the probe is zeroed by adjusting the trace position.

b) Set the electronic load current to 0.5A, start the load, and you can observe that the oscilloscope current has jumped to 0.5A (current probe 1A/V);

c) Close-up of the oscilloscope page, the measured current is 499mA, the result is very accurate.
