Excerpts from some conference speeches:
1. Keynote Speech “Surviving the Electronics Revolution Requires a Digital Strategy” With the exponential growth of electronic components in end products, companies need a complete digital design strategy that integrates requirements management, mechanical design, electronic design, electrical design, system verification and manufacturing engineering. With the addition of Mentor, Siemens is uniquely positioned to offer a complete multidisciplinary approach to electronic system development.
2. Keynote speeches by special guests
Sharing industry design trends and challenges.
3. Keynote speeches by Siemens representatives
4.Automotive Electronics Industry Session
In order to meet the growing demand for automotive electronic systems for driverless and ADAS, automakers must integrate complex automotive electronic systems into the design of the entire vehicle. This is a brand new challenge for traditional automobile and automotive electronics manufacturers. If they cannot successfully solve the increasingly complex design and production problems of automotive electronic systems, automakers are likely to lose their traditional market leadership.
This session will discuss how to bring more complex products to market faster, which requires more seamless integration of electronic hardware, software, wiring and mechanical systems. However, today's teams - mechanical design, electrical, software and system engineering, and manufacturing - often lack cohesion and visibility, and isolated design tools and teams that lack collaboration capabilities will greatly reduce productivity and fail to meet rapidly changing market needs. At the same time, as design teams become increasingly globalized, collaboration issues need to be identified and resolved earlier.
The keynote speech includes:
1. Autonomous driving, a new challenge for automotive electronics
2. In-vehicle electronic system planning and design management
3. Improving design quality and facing the challenges of ISO26262 standards
4. Facing Made in China 4.0, the digitalization of automotive electronics intelligent manufacturing
5. Communications Industry Session
Compared with 4G, 5G systems will have lower system latency and ultra-high network speeds, and 5G devices will also use different antenna designs and different frequency bands. The hardware design of 5G base stations and terminal devices faces unprecedented new design challenges. In the Communications Industry Session, we focused on how to use Mentor 5G solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of 5G hardware design and shorten the design cycle.
The keynote speech includes:
1. Virtual verification to ensure the design quality of 5G communication products
2. Application of digital collaboration in communication products
3. Data homology to create a unified design process
4. Physical implementation of 2.5D/3D packaging in communication ICs
6. High-end Consumer Products Industry Session
Consumer electronics rarely consist of just one PCB. Designs that include multiple interconnected boards are traditionally managed using Office software, such as spreadsheets for intra-board connections, text files for system parameters, and charts showing the system hierarchy. This results in poor collaboration between cross-domain design teams; costly intra-system connection errors; time-consuming and extensive manual verification steps; and some rules that limit the optimization of system changes. This session will focus on an alternative design flow to improve design team productivity and reduce development costs while helping design teams achieve time-to-market goals.
The keynote speech includes:
1. Reconstruction of system design methodology for smart home appliances
2. Efficient design and delivery using upstream and downstream data
3. Digital transformation of R&D under intelligent manufacturing
4. The integration trend of verification platform
7.PADS Session
Mentor Graphics PADS innovative design platform provides customers with a perfect combination of powerful electronic system design capabilities and ease of use, ease of implementation, ease of learning and great value for money. The PADS design platform provides the functions and capabilities needed to meet today's design challenges. At the same time, the PADS platform can also provide flexible scalability for new requirements as design needs continue to grow.
The PADS session includes two special lectures on "Efficient and Scalable Electronic Design Platform" and "DDR4 Interface Power Aware Verification", as well as PADS design experience sharing and usage experience activities.
