Many friends who are new to PLC have a problem that they don't know where to start. They always feel that they have learned for a long time and seem to understand all the knowledge points, but when they look back, they feel empty in their hearts, as if they have not mastered anything. You say you don't know, but you know some basic knowledge points. You say you know, but how to use it, you are completely in the dark. I think the main reason for this situation is that everyone has not broken away from the traditional school-style learning method, and brought that kind of rigid and dogmatic learning method into this technical field that focuses on practical operation and experience accumulation. I always want to be like us in our student days, waiting for the teacher to classify and summarize all the knowledge, and then instill everything into us in a simple and crude way, regardless of whether we can digest it or not, and whether we can use it or not. We just need to open our mouths. Then everyone must ask, if this method doesn't work, how should we learn? In my opinion, for learning, how much knowledge you have learned is not the most important thing. The most important thing is to master the learning method, especially the self-learning method. We should regard the teacher as a guide. Their role is just a guide on your learning journey. They are not even a guide. They are just a road sign or a map. However, if you want to reach the end in the end, you still have to rely on your own thinking and practice.
Therefore, you need to understand the following three points before you start learning: ▋First, we should train ourselves to find and acquire knowledge. In my opinion, the most important tool for finding the knowledge we need is the search engine. As for how to use the search engine, I believe that with the development of the Internet today, we should not be unfamiliar with it for those of us who use the Internet every day. ▋Second, many people will overlook this point, that is, how to solidify the knowledge after we have mastered it. It is said that a good memory is not as good as a bad pen. Any knowledge we remember with our brain will become blurred and distorted in our minds as time goes by. After a long time, the knowledge we have mastered will be discarded like a monkey moving corn. If we want to accumulate our knowledge, then every time we gain new knowledge, we should record it in the form of a document for future reference. ▋Third, the most important point is how we should choose the knowledge we want to learn. According to our experience in student days, the more we learn, the better. Only those who get high scores in every course are good students and will be loved by everyone. However, learning technology is different. No one can learn all the technologies in the world. Even if learning a technology like PLC, no one can master all brands of PLC. Therefore, our learning strategy should be only one point, that is, only learn what is useful, and don't look at other things. Of course, if you are really interested, it is another matter. The above three points are some personal experiences I have summarized from my own blood and tears, for your reference only. Finally, I want to tell you that if you really master the method of learning, learning should be a happy thing for us. In my opinion, painful learning is the same as practicing martial arts and not finding the method and finally going crazy. There is a path to the mountain of books, and diligence is the right way. There is no end to the sea of learning, so it is better to forget about hard work.
