Overview

MAXREFDES125# is a high-efficiency, 20W power supply suitable for industrial and various power applications. The groundbreaking design achieves over 96% efficiency with a wide input voltage range of 17V to 36V. The system provides a 5.1V @ 4A output voltage rail to meet the needs of many high power consumption systems. The heart of the system is the MAX17536 synchronous buck converter. The MAX17536 is capable of multiple modes, synchronous operation without Schottky diodes, internal compensation, and built-in soft-start. Therefore, a small-sized, ultra-high-efficiency power supply suitable for any system can be realized.
