Overview
100W USB-C dual-port charger reference design with single-stage PFC The reference design REF_100W_2C_SSFB_PAG1 is developed for USB-PD multi-port charger applications with a wide input range and output voltage from 3.3V to 21V. Each USB-C port outputs 100W of power, while the two USB-C ports have a total output of 100W and can be dynamically shared based on connected devices. EZ-PD™ PAG1 provides a single-stage PFC+ fixed frequency controller with synchronous rectification to save BOM. The power factor of the high/low lines of this solution is greater than 0.95. The board measures 60 mm x 60 mm x 28 mm and has a power density of 16.25 W/in³. The board meets U.S. Department of Energy Level VI efficiency requirements. Dual USB-C 65 W, universal input voltage range 90-264 VAC, 50-60 Hz 100W output power per USB-C port for a total output power of 100W and dynamic sharing based on connected devices .
