DER-357 – 12 W Triac Dimmable LED Driver

Overview

This document is an engineering report describing the design of a non-isolated, buck-boost LED driver (power supply) using the LYTSwitch family device LYT4313E. The DER-357 provides a single 12 W triac dimmable constant current output. The main design goal is to achieve high efficiency to increase luminous efficiency and reduce size. This allows the driver to fit into the BR40 lamp and be as close to the production design as possible.
