Overview

The RDDRONE-FMUK66 vehicle/flight management unit (FMU) reference design is the foundation for building industrial robotic drones, rovers and other small autonomous vehicles. This reference design runs the industrial drone standard PX4, giving you the freedom to develop your own robotic car. Additionally, the VMU/FMU is versatile and can run other open source or proprietary flight stacks.
It controls and guides navigation and responds to the environment in real time. It is suitable for a variety of airframes and vehicle types, including ground and aquatic robots. It performs sensor fusion, including GPS and other positioning inputs, to autonomously navigate to mission waypoints. This open, extensible platform supports many additional sensors.
