Overview

Principle design description
NE555 detects voltage through Trigger(Pin2) and Threshold(Pin6) and controls output

If Threshold( Pin6) detects any voltage exceeding 2/3 of the supply voltage, it will turn off Pin3 output 3. Whenever Pin3 output is off, the Discharge (Pin7) discharge pin is internally grounded, that is, it is internally connected to GND 
to take advantage of this feature , design a simple switch-controlled delay circuit:
when the circuit is just powered on, the Pin3 output is in a closed state. At this time, Discharge (Pin7) is internally grounded, so the capacitor is completely discharged.
When the switch is pressed, the following changes will occur:
Trigger (Pin2) is grounded. Since the Pin2 voltage is less than 1/3 of VCC, the Pin3 output is turned on, and at this time Discharge (Pin7) is disconnected from GND and is no longer grounded. . The 470uF capacitor will start charging through the resistor because Threshold (Pin6) is connected to the positive terminal of the capacitor, and it will detect the voltage of the positive terminal of the capacitor. When the capacitor is charged to 2/3 of VCC, the output of Pin3 will be turned off. The period of time when the 470uF capacitor is charged from 0V to 2/3 VCC is the delay time, that is, Pin3 outputs high level.
Then since the output of Pin3 is turned off, Pin7 is internally reconnected to GND and the capacitor begins to discharge until the voltage returns to 0. So each time the tact switch is pressed, the above steps will be repeated.
