STC MCU Automatic Downloader 2.0

1. Principle:
When downloading a program, the STC-ISP software will send 0x7F (legal ISP download command stream) to the MCU at the set minimum baud rate. After the MCU is cold-started and reset, it will start executing the program from the ISP monitoring program area. If a legal ISP download command stream is detected, the MCU will communicate with the STC-ISP software and start downloading the program. This downloader uses a STC15W104 to detect the data sent by the serial port. When a legal download command stream is detected, it will automatically complete the power-off and power-on operations, avoiding the tedious manual operation. As long as the program is compiled and the hex file is regenerated, the program can be automatically written into the MCU.
2. Features:
It can adapt to four common baud rates of 1200bps, 2400bps, 4800bps, and 9600bps, without manually setting the minimum baud rate;
5V and 3.3V one-button switch, perfectly compatible with 5V and 3.3V microcontrollers, the default output is 3.3V when powered on, long press the button to switch the output voltage, and the output voltage is 5V when the 5V indicator is on;
the program can be downloaded directly to the MCU on the downloader through the jumper;
the output can be turned on and off by short pressing the button;
the cold start will only be performed when a legal download command stream is received, which will not affect the serial port communication.
3. Burn the program for the downloader:
first use solder to short the two jumpers at the red arrow, and connect the downloader to the computer with a data cable.
Download the hex file and ISP software.
Select STC15W104 as the chip model, set the frequency to 11.0592MHz, click Open Program File to select the downloaded hex file, and then click Download/Program.
When the ISP software displays "Detecting target MCU...", use tweezers to short the jumper at the blue arrow until the program download is complete. After
the program is successfully downloaded, disconnect the two jumpers at the red arrows and use solder to short the jumper at the blue arrow.
Click the Detect MCU option in the ISP software to observe whether the TX indicator light is on and the output indicator light is flashing. If so, the production is successful. Otherwise, please carefully check whether there is a problem with the hardware or whether the operation steps are correct.
Check the two options in the lower left corner of the ISP software to automatically download the program to the MCU after each compilation.
