The AM306238R1DBGEVB is a footprint reference design that provides a complete solution for driving bipolar stepper motors. Combined with the AMIS3062xAGEVK evaluation kit, it forms a LIN-based solution that converts high-level commands from a LIN master into well-defined motions. The design can be programmed to detect mechanical blocking of the rotor and take action. It also features a minimal bill of materials, small board size, and perfectly matched thermal resistance, allowing 800 mA to be driven at elevated ambient temperatures.
