This time, a domestically produced 2.4G+MCU packaged chip is used. It is an integrated chip produced by Yuxin Microelectronics. It codes an 8-function remote control car IC and controls the forward and reverse rotation of 4 sets of motors at the same time.
Also used with 1818AM, each one has two H-bridges integrated inside, which can directly drive two DC motors. The average output current of 1.8 A is enough to satisfy this application scenario.
The main features are
low power consumption, convenient design, and saving hardware costs. The bottom layer of the chip has its own communication protocol, and the onboard micro-antenna can be used. As long as simple peripheral circuits are used, it can work normally.
This modification is very convenient.
A charge and discharge management TP4056 is added to the launch board, which saves you the trouble of finding a battery.
A small 200 mAh battery, thanks to its low power consumption, can also be played for an entire afternoon, but it still has a launch distance of 50 meters.
Note that
on the launch board, I merged the two channels into one group for forward and reverse, which can spread some power and reduce the heat of 1818AM. When
receiving
the second version of the board, the soldering pads were replaced with spring-type terminals, which made wiring more convenient and operation smoother!
The standard length of the antenna is 34mm!
The design logic
draws power from USB → boosts the charge to the battery through XL6019. Because it is a non-standard charging voltage, no special charging and discharging power management chip is used.
The recommended maximum charging voltage is 7.5V, and the maximum withstand voltage of 1818AM is 8V.
Welding recommendations for
C4 and C6 chip capacitors are best to put some solder paste on the pads, align them, and use a soldering iron to solder them.
Battery→Power distribution LDO chips
are AMS1117 and 78M05 respectively, which respectively supply the receiving power supply and the +3.3v required by 1818AM, and a set of 5V output power supply, which simultaneously supply power to the relay and also serve as an output to power the TF card player.
The water is clear and the bottom is crystal clear.
The positive VCC output power of the battery is set to 1818AM. Since the motor works underwater, it has greater power and can be provided with an appropriate heat sink. When the power voltage is ≥6v, a heat sink should also be provided.
In the binding method,
first turn on the power supply of the receiving board and then the transmitting board. When the frequency binding is successful, the receiving board indicator light is always off and the transmitting board indicator light is always on. There is a teaching video attached!
Notes on modification:
In order to save costs, a miniature water pump was used to modify the submersible motor with moderate power. Buy a horizontal type with 2 pairs of front and back blades.
Modify the motor and install it like this. It is recommended to use AB or hot melt glue when bonding, and 704 silicone rubber for waterproofing.
The three channels are used to control the entire duck, forward, backward, (turn left, turn right, use one channel)
, and the two-layer grip is more comfortable.
This channel of SW is used here to control the pause and start of the player.
For example, you can use it to light firecrackers wirelessly during the New Year, haha~
