Overview

The MPC5xxx series of adapters provide easy and flexible replacement of the pin count of a PGA adapter or processor without adding thermal cycling to the target PCB.

A variety of PGA adapters are available for MPC56xx and MPC55xx devices to quickly swap processors with different pin counts between PC test boards. The matching BGA socket is soldered to the appropriate position on the target PCB, suitable for quick insertion and removal, suitable for different MCU models such as MPC5674F, MPC563x and MPC563xM, MPC5567, MPC5566, MPC5565, MPC5554, MPC5553 or MPC5534.
