The ITMPC5643DBEVM evaluation board is equipped with the MPC5643L safety-oriented MCU belonging to NXP's MPC5xxx family. The KITMPC5643DBEVM is a daughter board used to extend the KIT33908MBEVBE kit equipped with the MC33908SBC. Together, these suites form the foundation of a security ecosystem. The ecosystem is capable of achieving the highest functional safety level specified by ISO26262.
The daughter board contains the MCU and external components for basic operation. Intelligent power management, including enhanced security features, is provided from the motherboard to the daughterboard. Therefore, the daughterboard must plug into the motherboard (using four 80-pin headers).
