This evaluation board uses the MC33664ATL. The MC33664ATL is a transceiver physical layer transformer driver designed to help you connect microcontrollers to high-speed isolated communications networks. MCU SPI data is directly converted into pulse bits and transmitted to the bus network.
The slave device response message uses the same structure to send pulse bit information to MC33664ATL. This information is then converted into an SPI bit stream and sent to the MCU.
This EVB works with the MC3377x battery controller. MC3377x is an automotive lithium battery controller IC suitable for hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and electric vehicles (EV), as well as industrial applications such as energy storage systems (ESS) and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
