Chip solution DC-DC chip TD8655
Modular PCB
Input voltage: 8.5-40v
Output voltage: fixed voltage (1.2V to 28V, default setting 5v)
Output current: 6A (maximum 15A, large current requires sufficient heat dissipation)
Number of output channels: 1 channel (the chip has 4 channels, this solution combines them into 1 channel)
Switching frequency: 100KHz-300kHz programmable
Quiescent current 2ma
Load test output efficiency:
1A (91.2%), 2A (92.5%), 3A (91.8%),
4A (90.8%), 5A (89.9%)
The TD8655 is a DC/DC Buck Synchronous with four current limit pins suitable for many multi-output applications.
It is designed to allow operation over a wide supply voltage range from 9V to 40V.
It has high-side and low-side drivers, allowing simultaneous configuration using two external power NMOSs.
The IC can operate in constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) modes.
The TD8655 operates as a DC regulator controller, providing constant current output from 1.2V to 28V and output currents up to 10A or more.
It features a constant current (CC) mode, allowing the output current to be set externally with ±7% accuracy.
Current mode control and external compensation enable feedback control with good linearity and load regulation, and flexible external design.
There are four independent current limit control pins for four separate loads.
Each of the current limits can be set across 100mV via a resistor (RCS).
Of course, the output peak current limit operates during normal operation.
