Handheld speed measuring pen

Overview

Project description

This project is a handheld tachometer based on Attiny and infrared tubes. It uses the Attiny85 microcontroller. It is small in size and has sufficient performance. It can also use the Arduino library. Then it uses the SMD infrared tube solution and uses the lm321 op amp. Amplify the infrared signal to a single chip, use a cr2032 battery (6V) in series, then step down the power supply and use a 0.91-inch OLED screen as the display

Here is the infrared tube circuit. It is amplified by the LM321 operational amplifier IC and then connected to the ADC2 pin of Attiny. The adjustable resistor can adjust the sensitivity.

Next is Attiny’s circuit. There’s not much else to say. Those who are interested can study the schematic diagram.

The firmware is still being written, please stay tuned. The main thing is that when the switch is turned on, it will enter the standby state (no measurement or display). After pressing the button, the measurement and display will start.
