The TPS54xxx series is a TI brand, a high conversion efficiency, high withstand voltage step-down DC-DC chip. This series has TPS54160, TPS54260, TPS54360 and other different levels of output current to choose from. The board also provides another DCDC chip SY8502FCC with conversion efficiency, high withstand voltage and high current for comparison. In the world test, TPS54160 and SY8502FCC generated heat between 40 and 45 degrees under the conditions of 48V input and 500mA load.
