st-link v2.1 modified version

Overview

image.pngimage.pngimage.pngimage.png Solder it yourself, I'm only talking about the burning process here

The premise of the following tutorial is that you must have a downloader (I use stlink downloader to download the new st-link downloader)

If you are using jlink downloader, go to jlink and download hex yourself.

If you are using the DAP downloader, go to Yehuo and ask how to burn the hex file.

The following tutorial is for burning firmware using st-link downloader

Among them, ST-LINK_USB_V2_1_Driver is the stlink driver (similar to the ch340 driver)

ST-LINK Utility is downloaded and we use it

Connect the stlink downloader you are currently using, and connect the four wires 3.3v, swdio, swdck and gnd.

These four lines are connected to the 3.3V GND of the download board and the DIO and CLK marked in red.

(After I connected 3.3 and gnd with Dupont lines, I used the two extra Dupont lines on SWDIO and SWDCK to connect to DIO and CLK)

Similar to the following, remember to plug in 3.3V and GND. I didn’t plug them in in the picture (because I was writing a tutorial)

image.png

Open STM32 ST-LINK Utility.exe

image.png

Connect the stlink of your downloader to the computer. If your stlink downloader has 3.3 output capability, then the light of the board we need to burn will be on at this time. image.png

Click target->connect connection

image.png Click File->open file to open the document

image.png

Then select STLinkV2.J28.M18.hex

image.pngimage.png

Then click Targer -> program & verify to burn (it will take about 3 seconds to complete)

image.png

After the burning is successful, unplug your stlink, and then insert the STLINK on the black board into the USB port of the computer. When the following content appears in the device manager, the v2.1 firmware has been successfully burned, and then it can be regarded as stlink v2. 1 used

image.png

Follow-up: If the program cannot be burned with the black stlink, it may be that the firmware is old and needs to be updated. Open ST-LinkUpgrade.exe and insert the black stlink into the computer USB

image.png

Click device connect device connect

image.png

Then select yes (it will take about 5 seconds to update, and success will pop up after success)
