OM6273: SC16IS752/762 - SPI/I ² C to Dual UART/IRDA/General IO

Overview

OM6273 is a demonstration board for SC16IS752/762. SC16IS752/SC16IS762 is an I ² C bus/SPI bus interface to a dual-channel high-performance UART , providing a maximum data rate of 5 Mbit/s, low operating and sleep current; it also provides 8 additional programmable I/O pins for applications foot. The device is available in extremely small HVQFN32 and TSSOP28 packages, making it ideal for handheld, battery-powered applications. This chip is capable of seamless protocol conversion from I ² C bus/SPI to RS-232/RS-485, and is fully bidirectional.
