Adding a filter capacitor may improve the problem. I once had an inductor whistling due to poor soldering of the capacitor. Later, after the capacitor was soldered properly, the whistling stopped. I thought the inductor was broken. Logically, the inductor should not make any sound. The whistling sound means that the inductor coil is loose.
