【Portable Programmable Meter】Hardware is already working [Copy link]

After several days of debugging, the basic functions of the hardware have been adjusted, and the voltage and current limit can be set. The next step will be to test efficiency, output power, etc.

I found a problem. The inductor I bought this time may not be of good quality. There is an obvious howling sound. I will try another model next time.

Adding a filter capacitor may improve the problem. I once had an inductor whistling due to poor soldering of the capacitor. Later, after the capacitor was soldered properly, the whistling stopped. I thought the inductor was broken. Logically, the inductor should not make any sound. The whistling sound means that the inductor coil is loose.   Details Published on 2022-8-7 08:49

It is not common for this kind of inductor to whistle. The reason is still being analyzed.  Details Published on 2022-8-6 16:09

Also, this fully sealed inductor cannot press the coil  Details Published on 2022-8-6 19:09

Howling is resonance, the frequencies just match.
