The OP

It seems like I'm in trouble. I dropped a bunch of chips on the ground. I have to pick them up with my hands or tweezers. I'm waiting online. It's urgent. [Copy link]

Please give me some advice, I hope I didn't destroy a bunch of chips, ahhhhh...

I came early in the morning and fiddled with the chips. My hand slipped and all the chips fell to the ground.

A bunch of microcontrollers lay gorgeously on the carpet...

What should I do? Should I pick them up with my hands? Or should I use tweezers? Will I destroy this batch of microcontrollers?

Also, some of the pins are crooked. Can they be straightened by hand?

How can it be so fragile? To be safe, remove the static electricity, then pick it up, and use tweezers to straighten the pins. To be safe, wear an anti-static bracelet.   Details Published on 2022-3-19 16:10

Remove static electricity and pick it up with your hands. The pins can be straightened, and you can only solder by hand in the future.

What's worse is that I'm a little worried that the static electricity on the carpet may have damaged the chip.  Details Published on 2022-3-18 10:28

"Should I pick it up with my hands? Or should I use tweezers?"

You can use your hands or tweezers, but be careful to remove any static electricity that may be on your body first.

I went there, touched the iron table with my hand, and then picked it up. I was worried that in the process of picking it up, it might touch the carpet and generate static electricity, which might cause problems for the chips, but I couldn't see it.  Details Published on 2022-3-18 10:29

It may be difficult to do it with your hands, so it is better to use tweezers. However, it is impossible to get the position very accurate after bending it straight. Before operation, remove the static electricity that may be on your body.

It's okay, just pay attention to static electricity when doing batch operations.

I usually don't pay attention to static electricity during development, but I rarely damage the development board.

The carpet on the floor seems to generate static electricity easily, and I don't know why it got damaged.  Details Published on 2022-3-18 10:34

Wear gloves and use tweezers, but you should have picked them all up by now.

It should be fine, some pins have built-in static protection.  Details Published on 2022-3-18 10:46

The floor is carpet.

I feel like that thing is prone to static electricity, and I wouldn't know it if it got broken.

It shouldn't be that brittle. Just remove the static electricity and pick it up yourself.

In this case, if you are worried, use anti-static tweezers to pick it up. Picking it up with your fingers is almost the same as picking it up with metal tweezers.

What chip? If it's under 20 yuan or purchased at public expense, just use your hands. Never had a problem.

The chip is not that fragile, I can just grab it with my hands. I do this frequently and there has never been a problem.
