There don't seem to be many 251-core products. It would be great if they could replace 51-core at a low cost. The main reason is that development is simpler than 32-bit, but I haven't found a mature development board.

32-bit development is now very simple using library functions. Some low-level drivers are already written, and the routines are very useful as long as they are written.
