New forum feature: Post by uploading a word document (good news for those who like to post a lot of pictures) [Copy link]

 

Launch time: May 19, 2021

Function description: As shown in the figure, click the blue word icon of the forum editor and upload your word document. Then you can import the word document you edited into the forum editor for editing and publishing.

For posts with multiple images, you can save the trouble of uploading and inserting them one by one. Editing in Word and uploading directly can save a lot of editing time~

Functional limitations:

Currently, only simple Word documents with mixed text and images are supported. If the document has complex formatting (such as adding a frame to the image), the actual import is not ideal.

If you encounter any problems during use, please post "problem description + imported document" to us so that we can track the problem~

Test Files

The following is a test file, in which the formula is edited with MatHype . There are two kinds of pictures, one is edited with Visio , and the other is obtained by directly taking a screenshot in the PDF file .

The effective value ( root mean square value, rms value ) of voltage or current is related to the average power of the noise and can be used to describe the size of the noise:

In the above formula, <Object: word/embeddings/oleObject2.bin> or <Object: word/embeddings/oleObject3.bin> reflects the average power of the noise.

The definition of noise equivalent bandwidth is: the frequency range of the ideal power gain response when the area of the ideal power gain response is the same as the area of the power gain response of the original circuit.

The red solid line in the figure is the power gain - frequency curve ( i.e. , power transfer characteristic) of the actual circuit , and fc is the cutoff frequency of the transfer characteristic. The blue solid line is the ideal power gain response curve, and fn is the noise equivalent bandwidth. The area of the blue rectangle in the figure is equal to the area enclosed by the red curve.

If the actual transmission characteristic is a first-order characteristic <Object: word/embeddings/oleObject4.bin> , substituting the above integral formula can prove the ratio of the noise equivalent bandwidth to the cutoff frequency <Object: word/embeddings/oleObject5.bin>. However, if the actual transmission characteristic is above the second order, then the above ratio will be affected by the Q value of the transmission characteristic and will be more complicated. For the common Butterworth response, the relationship between the ratio of the noise equivalent bandwidth to the cutoff frequency and the order is shown in the following table

In the datasheet of an op amp, noise is often described using a noise spectral density curve . The figure below is a typical noise spectral density curve . The noise spectral density curve is formed by 1 / f noise and broadband noise. In the figure, the high-frequency part is dominated by white noise, and the spectral density remains basically unchanged; the low-frequency part is dominated by 1 / f noise , and the spectral density increases significantly .

It’s not a big deal if the paragraph format is incorrect. As long as you know that there are limitations, just pay attention to it when writing.

It is best to upload MathType formulas and Visio images, otherwise it will be quite troublesome.
