Adding 3D packaging issues [Copy link]

[Ask if you don't understand] As shown in the picture, I use AD18 to draw the package diagram. Now I have drawn the flat package, but I am required to add a 3D model. Now I already have the 3D model file, which is a .stp file. What I do is, on the drawn package page, click place and select 3D Body. But then it asks me to frame an area, which is the pink area in the picture, and then select load 3D file. But after loading, as shown in the picture, the 3D package and my flat package do not match together. I drew a 6-hole package for the socket base, but the base pins in the 3D model did not insert into the package I drew. How do I do this?

Generally, it is adjusted by changing the X value to 90 according to the position angle or the 3D display angle.  Details Published on 2019-4-19 16:56

Thanks, do you mean setting each pin coordinates?  Details Published on 2019-4-19 16:19

Thank you. Do you mean to set the coordinates of each pin?

I added the 3D package again in Figure 1. Select the 3D file path. After loading the 3D file in the interface of Figure 2, the pink area on the right side of Figure 2 appears. How do I adjust the XYZ position to make it match my 2D? Figure 1 Figure 2

The direction of your package is inconsistent with your 3D. You can adjust the direction of your model in the 3D interface to make it coincide with the package.

You can adjust the 3D model by rotating it.
