The motors in variable frequency washing machines have increasingly adopted permanent magnet synchronous motors. Using the
FOC frequency conversion control algorithm, the washing machine can be designed with lower energy consumption and lower noise; and the latest sensorless technology, coupled with the use of the operational amplifier and comparator on the processor chip, can achieve lower hardware costs. This solution is developed based on Microchip's 16-bit processor dsP33EP series and MCHV-2 hardware platform.
